What services do we offer?
CareerU provides corporate (internally focused) career counseling, training, career center development, and web-based career assessment solutions for multiple industries. Our counseling/ training is conducted in person, or through e-learning, internationally.
CareerU currently works with many Fortune 500 Companies. However, community involvement is of great importance to us. We also provide career counseling for:
- Long distance job searchers - relocators to a new area;
- high school students
- mid-life career changers ;
- retirement 'second-career' planners
- anyone wanting to understand their best work.
We have an enthusiastic and qualified team of 50 domestic and international career counselors/instructors.
How Much Does It Cost?
Our corporate packages start as low as $100 to $400 per person, depending on quantity and assessment materials desired.
Community packages also range from $100-$400 depending on number of counseling hours needed and assessment materials used. Please contact us regarding your specific goals reason for: one-on-one counseling; training; career center development; or web-based career development solutions.
How Much Time Does It Take?
We offer training and counseling for as little time as one-hour, to full-day workshops/ ongoing career development coaching for individuals or workgroups.
Where is CareerU located?
Folsom/El Dorado Hills, CA (located in the Sacramento Foothills); however, we provide counseling/ training nationally & internationally.

CareerU History
Alice Rush, M.A., Career Counseling Director & Owner of CareerU, has over 15 years experience in Career & Education Counseling/Training & Sales Marketing for high-tech corporations, medical, retail & education environments. She holds a Master's Degree in Counseling with a background in Industrial Psychology. Alice was a founding member of the team that established several 'state-of-the-art' internal career development centers within two major Silicon Valley companies in 1991 through 1994. Since then, she has expanded her consulting to include offering web-based career development solutions for her international clients. Projects Alice Rush has worked on have been documented in Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Personnel Journal, Training Magazine, San Jose Mercury News, Tom Peters' – On Achieving Excellence, Labor Relations, and televised on PBS.
